I purchased a  cheap contract for the flat I was moving to. (and paid the for device upfront). I signed a direct debit form. . It transpires that my amount was never debited. As a result my name has been passed to a 3rd party collection agency who on top of adding a huge administration are threatening to send details to the Betreibungsamt. Literally one email (which you did the orders through) would have solved the issue. I tried ringing to resolve the issue and was met with an extremely unpleasant lady who hung up on me.

I am not looking for the bill to be forgotten, I just want the right to be able to pay the bill without debt collection.
