Unwarranted parking fine even though I paid for parking

I paid for parking between 19:55 and 21:31 on 22 July at Wright-strasse. I have a receipt and a photo and confirmation that I paid for parking spot 11. The company wants to charge me because apparently the machine registered another number plate. I wasn’t asked for the number plate during the payment process and I don’t know how the system registered my old number plate. That said, had I used the coin machine also available, my number plate wouldn’t have been registered, because the machine asks for parking place number instead, and I wouldn’t have been fined. But I didn’t know that these machines operated on different rules, which is absurd. This is money extortion by Livit AG. The company purposely takes advantage of unclear and disjointed process to take advantage of people.
