Harassment and threats by Amag

Three years ago I purchased a car with Amag with the residual leasing offer. I was told upon the end of the lease, I could return the car and pay the residual value or sell it and pay back Amag. Unfortunately as my employment ended earlier, I continued to pay the lease for the time with the aim of selling the car at the end of the lease. I contacted Amag to ask about the residual value so I could price the car correctly and instead received a threatening reply demanding immediate payment of the car price which was not the residual value but a much higher value. I explained that I would be happy to pay off the premium value once I found a buyer since the language of the email indicated that returning the vehicle was no longer an option. This resulted in more threatening and continued emails giving me a limited time and no support in reselling the car. When I asked to speak to the manager instead of reaching a common agreement they threatened with legal action initially giving me 3 days to source over 10k and then removing this offer and threatening with immediate legal action. At no point did they make an effort to inform of their expectations before I contacted them myself despite the fact they had my contact details. This is not to mention that I previously tried to contact them but the person who was looking after our lease was no longer working in the company and we were never informed of this change or given an alternative representative. I then contacted a general Amag number and the result was those harassing emails and aggressive tone.
