Biased response by Ricardo Customer Care team
La plainte
Complaint is regarding Artikelnummer: 1057437522 (sold over ricardo on 25th Nov 2019)
Please do not get me wrong, I am with Ricardo for almost 10 years now and did not experience any issues.
But in this particular case, story goes like this:
Due to confusion, I made a mistake in posting the item correctly. Instead of 1 BUDO belt for 1CHF in the main auction price field, I wrote in the description the price of each belt separately.
Description goes like this ->
Karate belts
4 - white color size 140
2 - orange colored size 240
2 - yellow
5 CHF each
Although auction price was set to start at 1.
The buyer, did the bid and expected me to send him/her all 8 belts for 1 CHF.
IMO, this was unfair as the description clearly mentions the detailed price. And, admitting my mistake I wrote to the buyer that ->

Unfortunately, something went wrong with the setting up of this Auction at Ricardo.
There are 8 different belts in this auction. Each belt is sold separately.
If you want all 8, I can offer all of them for 30 CHF + postage. (as per auction - 5 CHF per belt but due to wrong setup I can offer them at less price)

Now then, on 10th Jan 2020; buyer rated me -ve with these comments ->
Ersteigert für 1.-, versendet es nicht ohne Aufpreis von 29.- !! Hat Ricardo belogen um Verkauf zu stornieren. Wollte es gütlich regeln aber keine Antwort erhalten.Frustrierend !

Despite of him saying that he changed his mind and do not need this item and I should rate positively. I am returning the rating buyer gave me.
But - to my surprise my Rating was removed by Ricardo Customer Care.
Upon checking with RIcardo, I was told ->
ricardo.ch is entitled, but not obliged, to intervene at any time and without further inquiry in the autonomous rating system and to delete and/or correct ratings.
Your rating was deleted because it was a direct reaction to the rating received, which is not permitted.
In my humble opinion Ricardo has demonstrated a biased behavior. Uselessly, my record is spoiled by Ricardo. As they did not intervene to remove buyers negative rating for me...
I would like Ricardo to remove the -ve rating or allow me to rate the buyer similarly.
